Guruvarya M. K. Kerulkar Itihas Shikshak Award

For a Teacher with Special Contribution in the field of History Teaching)

Mr. M. K. Kerulkar is the President of Itihas Shikshak Mahamandal Maharashtra. He was the Principal of V.P.S. High School Lonavala and Seth Hiralal Saraf High School, Pune. He was the member of the Board of Studies of the Subject History at Balbharti, S.S.C. Board and SCERT. He is inspiration of Itihas Shikshak Mahamandal.
He is the recipient of Best Teacher Award of Maharashtra State.
Mahamandal gives award to a teacher with special contribution in the field of History teaching. The awardee will be nominated by the Mahamandal.
The awardee will be given Rs. 1000/- in cash with the memento and Special Certificate of Merit.

Dr. Suman Vaidya Itihas Shikshika Award

(For a Lady Teacher with Special Contribution in the field of History Teaching)

Dr. Suman Vaidya was highly qualified scholar in History. She was well known History teacher. She was working in the History Department, Nagpur University as the Reader. She was engrossed in research and presented many research papers on various topics. Her research work on ‘Bajirao Peshva-Second’ was appreciated by scholars. She wrote many history text-books for graduate and post-graduate courses.
Her sister Dr. Shanta Kothekar, herself an eminent academician, has given Rs. 15,000/- as donation in her name to Mahamandal. Mahamandal will nominate a lady teacher with special contribution in the field of history teaching.
The awardee will be given Rs. 1000/- in cash with the memento and a Special Certificate of Merit.

Dr. A. R. Kulkarni Essay Competition for the Teachers

The award of Rs. 1000/- in cash and the memento alongwith a Special Certificate of Merit will be awarded to 1st rank essay.

Dr. Arvind Deshpande Competition for the Teachers

The award of Rs. 1000/- in cash and the memento along with a Special Certificate.

History Talent Search Examination

Students scoring 40 and above marks will be issued certificates of merit. First, Second and Third ranks in the state will be awarded the special certificate of merit and memento. First rank student in each district and each standard i.e. 5th to 10th will be awarded special certificate of merit.

Student's Essay Competitions

The first three ranks of each category i.e. Junior, Senior, Higher Secondary will be awarded cash prizes and Certificate of Merit. Certificate of participation will be issued to all the participants..
